London hotel prices starting to fall

Jun 24th, 2008 | By | Category: London Hotels

Deservedly so, I see that the more “clued up” hotels on the hotel assist.com website are reducing their prices ahead of an expected fall in occupancy.
The bigger groups which have more sophisticated trend prediction software are the leaders with some superb central London bargains to be had in July and August.
The independant hotels with odd exceptions are complacent and are for now leaving rates at very high levels, making things easier of course for those hotels actively offering rate incentives.
Perhaps the best example that can be had is the Baileys Hotel where they seem to have settled on an 87 gbp price point – a very impressive bargain. Also in Kensington, the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum has softened its rates. Check these two 4 star hotels out because they can be as cheap if not cheaper than a three star in the same London area.
Its about time we had sensible value for money prices in London, the clients have been fleeced for too long now.
