London is the new New York City…

Over the years London’s popularity has increased dramatically. The city oversees many famous and historic landmarks.  From Buckingham palace to Wembley stadium and parliament.

The hustle and bustle of the city is never ending. The people are enthusiastic, polite and extremely helpful. London’s population consists of people from different backgrounds. The various nationalities bring various trades to the city. Not only has the city benefited from the vast amounts of different restaurants, the people can now taster things from exotic fruits to cultural shows.

The city is flooding with culture. Almost every night there is something going on at either a theatre or a nearby auditorium. No one could ever get bored in London. The west end is as brilliant as Broadway with fantastic hits such as mama mia, lion king and many many more.

Wembley stadium is the heart of major football matches, concerts and charity events. The town comes to life.

Over the years the city has improved appearance wise and economically. The strength of the pound benefits tourists and local citizens.

Hotels corner each road and the prices aren’t too bad.

For the tourists there are many things to do. Visit places such as Kew gardens, museums, Hyde Park, a theatre, oxford circus. The list is so long winded.

Also the London underground tube system is so easy to follow that there isn’t a chance of you getting lost.

London is for everyone. However its up to you how you want to portray it. from acting like Carrie Bradshaw strutting down oxford street or acting like a well known celeb, you can be anything and do anything.

However visiting the city is more exciting than reading it through someone else’s perspective.

  1. The olny thing you are forget in this equation is that everything in London is twice the price of New York if not more!

I am currently trying to plan a trip to london and it is expensive. The best resource i have found for saving money has been BroadwayBox’s London site ( for when it comes to theater. Any other tips? Still looking for a hotel.
